Applications are now open for climbers who want to be considered for the 2024-2025 Youth Team. In previous years, the Team has been selected at the beginning of the calendar year. Moving forward, we will work to a periodised training and competition programme that will begin a month after the international season ends. The current Youth Team have now ended their season at the European Youth Championships and the new training year will begin with an induction day on 30th November. It is important that aspiring Youth Team climbers submit their application before 25th October. This is a very short window so please do not delay in getting your application in.
We recognise that the competition season is different depending on the age and stage of the athlete with key competition seasons as per the table below. Therefore, selection windows for the squads and teams will differ

This year, we will introduce a membership fee of €960 per year, split into two instalments for December and April. This ‘Climber Contribution’ will go towards entry fees, specialist coaching, wall and gym hire, physiotherapy and kit with any left-over budget used to subsidise travel and accommodation for overseas competitions and camps.
