Founded 1994. Weekly walks on Sundays follow a pre-planned schedule, mainly west / north-west area and islands. Graded walks Level 1 (low, easy) to Level 5 (more peaks, longer and more strenuous). Occasional weekends/weeks away in Ireland and abroad. We welcome new members & MI visitors of all levels. However our emphasis is on hill walks rather than low level rambles. We encourage training and have a Training Officer in place to fulfill this role. Age profile 30s to 50s +.

Formed in 2004, the Oyster Walking Club is small and friendly with about 50 members, based in the Clarinbridge area. We aim to promote hill-walking and enjoyment of our countryside.
