In existence for 30 years we are one of the biggest Clubs in Ireland. Offering walks at all grades we offer 7 to 8 walks every week Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday and Sunday. Each year we also offer many overseas trips. Long weekends within Ireland also available. We cater for people aged 18 and over

The club is based in the city and every fortnight it organises different grades of hill walks to suit all levels of ability. Non-members are welcome to join us for a trial walk by booking online. On bank holiday weekends the club organises weekends away to enable members to climb mountain ranges throughout Ireland. The main focus of the Club is hill-walking, although various members are also involved in other activities such as cycling, orienteering, rock climbing, kayaking and camping. The club has an active social calendar with regular nights out, parties, treasure hunt, barbecues etc.

Cork Climbing Club is a non-profit organization that brings together all who is interested in the climbing scene in Ireland as well as other destinations. Indoor and outdoor climbing are both our passion including bouldering, traditional lead and sports climbing. We promote the sport locally to get individual climbers together as a group, and support and organize climbing activities.
