Date: 09/12/2021
Venue: Online

Mountaineering Ireland is delighted that Noel Hanna will deliver this year’s Mountaineering Ireland Lynam Lecture. Noel is a renowned adventurer and endurance athlete of the highest order. A native of Northern Ireland, he has scaled summits and competed in adventures the world over.

He is an original founder of the Spartan Race and his accomplishments include summiting Everest 10 times.

Since the inauguration of the Lynam Lecture in 2011 in memory of Joss Lynam, many leading national and international mountaineers have delivered enthralling lectures. Click here for more details on the Lynam Lecture.

We look forward to hearing about Noel's many mountaineering achievements and adventures and are delighted to be awarding Noel Hanna the 2021 Mountaineering Ireland Lynam Medal.

Given the current rise in COVID-19 cases and ongoing restrictions to indoor venues this event will be held online. Due to these changes, we are able to offer this event free for our members.
