Student Training & Safety Seminar

aThe annual Mountaineering Ireland Student Training and Safety Seminar is for student in Mountaineering, Hillwalking and Climbing clubs. We invite participants to attend this seminar where information sessions on a wide range of relevant topics will be delivered.

This event is open to both Mountaineering Ireland affiliated clubs and non-affiliated clubs. It provides valuable networking and knowledge sharing opportunities. There will be time for skills training and craic during the weekend. Based in Tollymore National Outdoor Training Centre for Northern Ireland, it is well located amongst the Mourne mountains and crags, home of the Hot Rock Climbing Wall and a short drive to the newly bolted sport climbing venue, Altnadue Quarry.
