Youth Trad Climbing Camp - Glendalough, Co. Wicklow

Venue: Glendalough, Co. Wicklow
This three-day outdoor climbing camp is for young climbers who are keen to climb outside on real rock. The climbers will be introduced and helped to develop some of the skills to become competent and confident trad climbers. The skills covered will be tailored to each individual participants age and prior experience.

What: Three days of climbing at the in the beautiful Glendalough valley.

When: Tuesday 16th of July to Thursday 18th of July.

Where: Glendalough, Co. Wicklow.

How much: €250 – includes instruction, food and accommodation.

For who: Young climbers born 2007 and earlier. All participants must be current members of Mountaineering Ireland. 

No. places: Maximum 12.

Instructor ratio: Maximum 4:1.

Equipment: All participants must have their own harness, helmet, climbing shoes and outdoor clothing. All other specialist can be supplied.
