Date:  21/11/2017

Eimir Mc Swiggan has taken first place in the Korean Dry Tooling Series.

Eimir has been using the series as part of her preparation for the upcoming UIAA Ice Climbing World Cup.

The win is particulary impressive given the strength and depth of talent in dry tooling and ice climbing in South Korea. South Korean climbers took first the two first places in the 2017 Ice Climbing World Cup.

In her typically humle fashion, Eimir commented after her win, "Yesterday I won 1st place in the final of the Korean Dry Tooling Series. I definitely don't feel I was the best climber and maybe didn't deserve 1st place but I did try my best and I think luck was definitely on my side too. It was such an fantastic opportunity to take part in this series and I really thank the Korean Alpine Federation for allowing me to take part and all climbers from Anyang and all over Korea who have always supported me."
